Our Approach

At Express Hearing Solutions, we focus on making hearing healthcare easy and affordable by bringing our services to you. Many people struggle to get necessary help with their hearing issues because of the high cost of hearing aids as well as a general lack of accessibility. Our innovative approach provides a solution to both of these issues.

When you book an appointment, our skilled Audiologist will meet you at your home, workplace, or another location of your choosing. During this visit, we perform a thorough hearing assessment to help understand your needs. If a significant hearing loss is discovered and hearing aids are recommended, we will also conduct the hearing aid fitting and all regular follow-up appointments on-site, so you don’t ever have to travel to a clinic.

This not only makes the process more convenient for the patient but also helps us lower our expenses. As a result, our prices are usually 25% to 50% less than those at traditional clinics. We are dedicated to providing an easy and cost-effective solution for your hearing needs, ensuring both access and quality care.

Hearing Aids

Hearing Aid Styles

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing aids the most commonly used hearing aids available. They are small, comfortable, and discreet. They have a part that sits behind the ear that houses the main electronic components, and it is connected by a thin wire to a speaker in the ear canal. These hearing aids offer customizable ear tips for improved comfort and sound. Overall, RIC hearing aids are practical, reliable, and unobtrusive, providing high quality hearing enhancement without being obvious.

Behing-the-Ear (BTE)

BTE (Behind-The-Ear) hearing aids are worn behind the outer ear, similar to RIC hearing aids but much larger. They have a part that sits behind the ear that houses all of the electronic components which is connected by a tube to an ear mold that fits inside of the ear. They are powerful, durable and easy to handle, making them a popular choice for patients with severe hearing loss and/or dexterity issues.

In-the-Ear (ITE)

In-the-Ear hearing aids are custom molded to your individual ear. Everything fits inside of the ear, and the ITE style is designed to fill up the entire “bowl” of the ear. They are powerful, comfortable, secure, and easy to handle and clean. They are not designed to be discreet.

In-the-Canal (ITC)

In-the-Ear hearing aids are also custom molded to your individual ear. The ITC style is designed to fit in and fill the ear canal only. They are comfortable, secure, and easy to handle and clean. They are not designed to be discreet, but they are much smaller and less visible than the above ITE style while still being relatively easy to handle.

Completely-in-Canal (CIC)/Invisible-in-Canal (IIC)

Completely-in-Canal and Invisible-in-Canal hearing aids are very similar to the ITC style above in that everything sits inside the ear canal, but these hearing aids fit deeper in the canal and are designed specifically to be extremely small and discreet. They can even be virtually invisible (IIC) depending on the size and shape of your ear canal. Due to their small size, they may not be the best option for someone with a severe hearing loss, dexterity, and/or vision problems.
